Very Rare Rawlings "0T-42" Model Mickey Mantle First Baseman's Glove!
Signed by "The Mick" himself, the legendary Mickey Mantle!
Signature obtained from and authenticated by Kevin Huard of Yesterdays Legends back in the mid-1990s.Kevin hosted Mickey for shows back then, and this glove comes with both the original COA signed by Kevin, as well as an autograph ticket to the show it was acquired at.
I have researched and owned several Mantle mitts over the years, and this is still the only "Model 0T-42" that I've ever seen. Even researching it now, I cannot find any information on this particular model. Some Rawlings expert knows exactly when this glove was produced and it's original price point, however, I do not.
All that IS certain, is that the glove was made from 1967 on, as that was the year that Mickey began his transition to First Base, as his injuries had taken their toll on his legs.Glove IS vintage and over 50 years old, and shows obvious wear from personal use and multiple sandlot games!
It CAN be cleaned and oiled, and there are processes out there to do so safely.
Glove has faded name of the original owner "Mark" written in barely visible ballpoint on wrist strap and what also appears to be on the inside left of the glove. DAMMIT MARK! :)

As mentioned, both The Yesterdays Legends/Kevin Huard certificate of authenticity is included, as well as the autograph ticket from the show Kevin hosted Mickey at to have this signed.
