Toronto Blue Jays / Labatt Brewing Co. animation celThis is a rare, one-of-a-kind, hand painted animation cel from Toronto-based, Lightbox Studios. It was used in the production of a Toronto Blue Jays / Labatt Brewing Company commercial.The Labatt Brewing Co. bought the Toronto Blue Jays in 1976.The cel was purchased from the studio in the early 2000\'s and is like new (please excuse any glares in the photos).The cel size is 17\" x 14\" and theimage size is 7\" x 6\"
Artist-Lightbox Studio,Greg Duffell is known for his work as a cartoon animator, director, producer and writer and also performed voices on Inspector Gadget (1983), Rock & Rule (1983) and television commercials. His career included work for Richard Williams, Chuck Jones, Nelvana, Rick Reinert, Dino Kotopoulis, the National Film Board of Canada and his own company Lightbox Studios Inc.
