This LAPD pictorial Book is rare. It has Departments and time-line photos and and related articles. It also shows historical periods in Law Enforcement dating back to 1869. It shows Departments detective photos (homicide, vice squad, etc.) Their isn't a book today that shows photos of this type. Major police depts believe in anonymity and not revealing this kind of information based on safety, but since this goes back to 1984, it is unlikely that any if the officers are still in duty.
