This is an authentic major league baseball that has been hand signed and inscribed with “HOF ‘75” by Ralph Kiner. He played in the MLB as a left fielder for 10 seasons, debuting with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1946-1953, and played with two other teams from 1953-1955. Kiner is a consecutive six-time All-Star from 1948-1953, a consecutive seven-time NL Home Run Leader from 1946-1952 and the NL RBI Leader in 1949. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1975, was elected to the New York Mets Hall of Fame in 1984 and had his No. 4 Pittsburgh Pirates jersey retired in 1987. He also served as an announcer for the New York Mets from the team\'s inception until his death. Autograph obtained in person at a public signing by the seller, prior to his unfortunate death on February 6, 2014. The ball is signed with a blue ballpoint pen and comes with a certificate of authenticity and numbered hologram from Jim and Steve’s Sportscard Shop.
