This lamp is absolutely stunning! It is made by Wildwood lamps and is so Embossed on the metal part that holds the lightbulb as well as Rocky Mount.
It is approximately 18 inches overall to the top of the light fixture or 15 inches to the top of the wood area. Please note this is not my area of expertise so message me with any questions you may have before offerding as I’m not really sure what this is called and have googled information that I am providing below.
This appears to be a vintage hand-painted Chinoiserie Octagonal table lamp featuring a black finish adorned with traditional figures and floral design.
This vintage Octagonal table lamp features hand-painted floral motifs as well as oriental/Asian motifs on a black lacquered body. Depending on your mood, you could turn this lamp either way and have a different Look!!!
The label references Wildwood Lamps!!!
Please note there is chipping of the lawyer/paint mostly to the upper area especially around the curved octagonal top sections. Most of the sections are wonderful but there’s one section that has a larger piece of the lacquer/paint missing which could probably easily be colored in with black paint but I’m leaving that to the new owner as it is so busy in design, it’s not very well noticed unless you’re really looking for it.
This lamp is stunning. I was going to keep it. I have decided to sell it here.
I have the heavy duty bracket shown in the last photo that was with it that I believe is original. The finial is not original.
This will be safely packed. Although the chipped area seems totally stable to me, it is possible during shipping that some piece could come loose. It will be carefully packed to avoid that, but just wanted to make that possibility known.
Just a rare and beautiful fine that would look beautiful in any setting!
