Rare Vintage Disneyland "Sold Out" Gate Handbill – Walt Disney Productions Era
This is a rare and unusual piece of Disneyland history from the Walt Disney Productions (WDP) era. Unlike typical park souvenirs, this handbill appears to be an operational tool used by cast members to communicate with guests during unique park conditions. This handbill would have been handed to guests by cast members when a special or seasonal event at the park reached maximum capacity, a rare occurrence, but an unfortunate circumstance that could arise at an event like a New Year’s Eve Party.
This is a high-rarity item. This isan exceptional "rescue" piece for a serious Disneyana or theme park history collection.

Design:Features a rare "Shrugging Mickey" in a tuxedo, used historically by Disney as a polite apology for attraction closures or park sell-outs.
Format:Looks to be part of a "tear-off pad"
Text:Explicitly states the park is sold out and advises guests to "purchase tickets early next year".
Branding:Includes the "© Walt Disney Productions" (WDP) logo. The reverse side is blank.
Condition:Very good vintage condition. Minor wear consistent with being a "tear-off" sheet and there are pin holes (2) in the top corners.
