A beautifully matted and framed Presidential Letter on White House stationery (protected by glass), boldly signed by Dwight D. Eisenhower, thirty- fourth president of the United States. Dwight David Eisenhower was a military officer and statesman who served as president from 1953- 1961. During WW II he served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force in Europe and achieved the rank of five- star General of the Army.
This presidential letter on White House stationery was addressed to Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court, Robert G. Simmons, dated February 3, 1960. In the body of the letter, the president inquires of Justice Simmons coronary condition and goes on to say that, \"From my own experience with a coronary\" suggests that the justice \"Faithfully follows the doctor\'s orders\". It\'s a beautiful and very thoughtful letter, in excellent condition and a wonderful piece of American history.
