Hand-blown teal blue glass decanteur by Legras Glassworks commemorating the Franco-Russian Alliance naval visits of 1891–1893. The bottle is engraved “Cronstadt Paris Toulon” and decorated with two hand-painted enamel shields symbolizing the friendship between France and Russia. Measures approximately 9 inches tall. Appears to have originally included a stopper, which is no longer present. No cracks or major damage; minor surface wear consistent with age. This type of "Amitiés Franco-Russes" (French-Russian Friendship) commemorative glass was produced around 1893, marking the reciprocal naval visits between Toulon and Kronstadt that celebrated the new alliance between France and Russia. A rare and authentic historical piece of late 19th-century Franco-Russian memorabilia.
