Antique 1920s Germany belsnickle Santa clay face with sled For Sale

Charming, and classic, antique 1920s belsnickle Santa with sled/sleigh. Made in Germany and has the stamp underneath the sled. Santa is permanently attached to the sled. Measuring at 3” inches tall by 4” 1/4 wide. The cotton reins thread measure 5”’inches long.

Santa is in great shape with nice and bright face paint. He has white panels for his beard. The left side of the white mustache panel is missing.

He may or may have not had rabbit fur on his beard at one time. He does have some minor paint cracking/pealing on his boots. There’s a good amount of paint missing on the bottom right heel.

Santa contains his original green tree. The painted wood sled has some condition issues. Mainly some paint loss in places. Also, please note the back left sled leg is tilted and leans to the left as shown in the photos. The left sled tab has a crease in it as well.
