Antique 1890s Cabinet Card Child Photo Baker’s Art Gallery Columbus Ohio For Sale

Original late-19th-century cabinet card photograph of a young child, produced by Baker’s Art Gallery of 106 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio. The front features the Baker’s Art Gallery studio mark along with decorative gilt award medallions. The reverse is especially attractive, featuring an elaborate illustrated advertisement depicting the Baker’s Art Gallery building and the wording “Grand Prize and Highest Award at the World’s Fair.”

A wonderful piece of Columbus, Ohio photographic history and Victorian-era portraiture. The child is unidentified.

Antique condition with expected age-related wear, light staining/spotting, surface marks and edge/corner wear. There is also a small hole/puncture near the center of the upper edge of the mount. Please review all photographs for exact condition.
