Standing a rare and impressive 20 inches tall and weighing well over 5 lbs, this solid wood sculpture features deep, sharp hand-carved facets depicting a traditional traveling wanderer or vagabond clad in a detailed cloak and hat, holding a pipe, and accompanied by a small animal/dog at his base.Artist Signed: Clearly incised with the prominent "VIALA" signature on the front face of the carved base.Premium Oil Finish: Treated with a beautiful, natural wood oil that accentuates the rich character, deep grain, and warm color of the timber without the harsh, plastic glare of modern synthetic lacquers.Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
