Good knife
Bought this as an everyday carry. I like it. It feels good in the hand. The blade came perfectly centered from the factory. It’s a little tight so some minor adjustments will need to be made. The axis release sits shallow into the scale so there’s not as much to grab onto compared to some of the other axis lock knives. It’s certainly usable, and it’s not a deal breaker especially considering the price. The scales at first impression “by photo” I thought were going to feel cheap. They don’t. The knife feels good in hand. The scales don’t feel as if they will collapse under pressure. It appears to me that Benchmade did an outstanding job on this design. The drop point blade is usable. It doesn’t look like an exotic design...because it isn’t. It’s a well balanced blade that can be used for ... Bought this as an everyday carry. I like it. It feels good in the hand. Benchmade Grizzly Ridge ROCKS!!
The Benchmade Grizzly Ridge is a beast of a knife! I own several Benchmade knives and chose this model for hunting and working around our farm. Easy Axis open, very sharp blade, and the no-slip coating on the handles is fantastic. I highly recommend this knife for anyone needing a sturdy work horse blade!

Smooth at the opening smooth on the lock. Like the satin finish on the blade as well as the hunting style skinner shape. With no doubt a fine product. Benchmade is proud of the knives you can see it on the prices but this one worth it.
