This amplifier is good for what I'm using for .. external speakers to my television. It would be nice if it had a remote, but that would drive up the price. So, so far, so good .. i'll see how long it lasts, and then write another review.

When I received my TP IA25U w/ USB/SD and I connected JBL speakers, it performed well but within weeks one of the speaker terminals broke. When I first received it and plugged into the AUX input, there was loud hum as if the input was shorted out to ground. As a workaround, I plugged the TV into the CD input and that solved the humming problem. I consider these issues to be isolated, and I liked the unit's features overall. So I am returning my defective unit for another one of the same model. By the way, it is NOT a 600-WATT amp. It's 25-WATT per channel. (ebay description is misleading)

600 WATTS ? 3 issues. First, it shows 600 PEAK in desscription. Nothing more. Nothing about distortion/sound levels. The 600 lead me to hope it would get past 100 rms per channel (with a reasonable amount of distortion) for my intended application - it doesnt ! Expect about 60 - maybe 70. IT WILL CRANK OUT ALOT MORE - but doesnt get much past that before it starts sounding awful ! Large bookshelf/small floor speakers 8ohm @ 25 - 50 watts rms are a good match. My large floor speakers start to get loud @ 60watts (or so),but this amp is useless past that point. 2nd is knobs need a speck of color for pointers. (not a big deal) 3rd is the SD card slot. Not sure what I hear. Card running/being read makes a noise that is then amplified. Mostly noticeable between songs, but is cosistent. I asked - they said they had no one else that had an issue with a noise. I was welcomed to return it to be checked out under warranty. I didnt want to pay shipping so I didnt. Maybe I got the only one with a noise. Every thing else seems good. All in all, if this amp showed 60 on the faceplate instead of 600, it would probably get good reviews ! For the price I paid, its not such a bad little amp - just not what I was hoping for. I checked YES recommend to a friend (but only after you tell him/her 60 not 600)Read full review
I purchase this receiver to use with my technics turntable. I got nothing when I connected my turntable to the aux line and my DVDs sounded very harsh on the high side. Its probably fine if you're not concerned about the sound, but I decided to buy a used NAD receiver which sounds much better and cost me $50 By the way the merchant was excellent and I would endorse them for their integrity and service.

I purchased this amp thinking I was going to be just average , I was looking for an amp that would be able to play my 16gb MP3 memory sticks in the house because the only way I can hear them now is either my car or through my tiny speakers on my computer To my surprise , This amp not only has more power than what I was expecting , It sounds amazing and is so easy to use The music on memory sticks loads so fast and goes right into play automatically ,I'm really happy with this amp , when I use the forward or back buttons to either go to the next track or go back to a previous track , the unit lock in and does it very fast , I LOVE IT , The separate bass and tone controls let me contour the sound just the way I like it , and having a balance control as well just makes this amp even better I'm so happy I found this seller (AUDIO SAVINGS) , They are an AWESOME company and I'm very happy they made these amps available here on Ebay , It got here very quickly and in perfect condition , I LOVE THIS AMP , Read full review
