Here's a gas can that will last a lifetime. Excellent design for ease of handling without spilling a drop. Absolutely no plastic parts, all metal. Get the 2.5 gallon size if the filled 5 gallon size is too much for you. Ideal for long term storage due to its numerous safety features. I use one can for my lawn tractor with the other cans designated for my generator. Always use a fuel stabilizer when first purchasing the gas. ZORO has the best prices and fastest delivery in the industry. I would definitely buy from them again.

After years of going through plastic cans and the cheap metal ones I finally decided to spend the extra money and buy a gas can that was sturdy and reliable, this thing fits the bill! No more spill issues thanks to the spout design and no more fumes after filling it up, I should have bought one of these a while ago definitely worth the extra money and will probably be the last can I will ever have to buy.

Top quality gas can. The design is very user friendly and it makes it easy to really love this product in the garage! While it’s expensive for a gas can, you certainly get what you pay for! I would recommend it for anyone willing to invest the money for a good product!

I own both the Justrite brand and Eagle brand, 5-gallon type II safety gas cans. And in my opinion, the Justrite can is superior. The Justrite product feels more sturdy, has no plastic parts, and the spring on the fill cap is very solid. I bought the Eagle tank last year, based on product reviews. But I only used the Eagle tank once, because when the Eagle can is full the gasoline will slosh out of the can because the cap spring isn't strong enough. Also, unlike the photos at the Eagle website, the Eagle features a plastic pour handle. And for me, metal plastic, in gas cans, anyway. So basically I believe that the Justrite can is superior. And after using the can for one month and based on the way that the Justrite can looks and feels, I believe that the Justrite can will last for decades. PS: If I could improve one thing about the Justrite gas can, it would be to install a cap of some type on the end of the gasoline nozzle. Most cans come with plastic caps for the end of the nozzles, but for whatever reason, the metal type II safety cans don't have caps on the ends of the nozzles.Read full review

I didn't want to spend "this much" on a gas can. But, I am truly glad that I did. This can is built like a tank, yet, it's not especially heavy. I ordered the one with a 5/8 inch spout. Why? I wanted to make sure that the spout would fit inside the filler hole on my car's gas tank. And, yes, it fits! This can also has about a 1/2 inch lip around (on) the bottom which is handy to have when you're pouring. I primarily bought this can so that I would always have gasoline for my portable generator. When the gas in this can gets kinda old, I will pour it into my car and then re-fill this can with fresh gas. That's why I wanted the 5/8 inch spout. If you can, spend a little more on this can. After all, you'll have it for many years.
