I own this product since 2000 (or 1999 don't remember) My father bought it brand new. The quality of the sound is out of discussion but the power is too low. It's not easy to configure, as well as the remote control is not user friendly. It has an impressive presence, very heavy and although te construction quality is very high (an habit until late '90), after 1 or 2 years I had to send it to Kenwood because the digital processor stopped working (the 5.1 systems) I honestly wouldn't have bought if I was my father on that time. He probably didn't get informed at all before purchasing. We used it only for few movies and I always ignored it during my life since early 2000 so far Sometimes I even forget it is there in living room. Indeed its condition is like new and still has the protective film on the displayRead full review

For the price this was a steal. Compared to srp. works really well sounds very nice. It might seem a bit under powered sound wise. I mean if you like having the next town away hear your tunes. Or trying to be the neighborhoods movie theater. Then this isn’t for you. But most of us never do need MAX sound. And its a great fit. If I do want to boast and wake the neighborhoods. I have a ADC equalizer which fills in that gap well. So under power is not really a issue if you have a HI-FI equalizer.... I’ve yet to try how well the FM radio side of it is. Over all I like this item.
It's a good brand and was well maintained . The price was perfect.
