This was the best purchase i made over the past year. This guitar is fantastic! It sounds great ,plays easy. It has become my favorite guitar. The neck is perfect. I had to tweak it a little but It is the first ESP guitar I have ever owned. Unplug there is no sound from the body but pluged in WOW. It really comes alive. The gig bag and all of the other items that came with the guitar are all of very good quality and very usable. The guitar tuner, 15' cord, gig bag, picks etc, are ChromaCast brand. All great quality. Shipping was very fast. I had this package in just a few short days. AAA plus to this company. Thank You!

I wanted an acoustic with electric feel and capabilities, but didn't want to spend the big bucks for a Taylor T5. Ran across a couple of reviews of this guitar and was impressed enough to buy one without trying it out. The guitar is lightweight and comfortable- feels a lot like a Les Paul with similar fit and finish to the current stock of Gibsons (which is to say- not perfect). The neck is well sized with a nice radius. Unamplified, it's as weak as one would expect, but sufficient for plinking and practice. Amplified, with the OEM 12 set of strings, it comes alive nicely. The onboard tuner is good only for rough work, but the balance of the electronics seem to work well. I was misled by a local music store saying I could use an electric 10 set on the guitar. As soon as I installed them I lost the top three strings when amplified. I took it to my luthier who shaved 1/8" off the bottom of the saddle, installed an acoustic 11 set , and all was right with this world. The action cam down nicely, and the electronics picked up a well balanced signal. Bottom line- it's a good guitar that benefits from a pro setup.Read full review

I saw a couple of reviews of the TL-6 on Youtube, and thought it looked like a great idea. Found the best price (from a company that actually had it in stock) and ordered. When it arrived it was set up with an acoustic 12 set of strings and was tougher to play than I expected. I tried (at one music store's suggestion) an electric 11 set and found that I'd completely lost the top three strings through the electronics. No bueno. Then I went to an acoustic 11 set (D'Addarios) and got some of the response back, but not enough- was zeroed out on the low and midrange dial, and maxed out on the high end, to get some balance back into the signal. I took it to my luthier, who immediately saw that the saddle was very high, and suspected that 1/8" off the bottom would solve both the high action and the signal problem. Bingo! Now I have a hybrid guitar with fair unplugged volume and tone, and great tone through an amp, that plays as easy as a fine-tuned Les Paul. All for about 1/3 the price of the T5s from an unnamed mfr.Read full review
