Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Vintage Stereo Receivers
I purchased my STA-95 and, based on the pictures, thought I was getting a great deal. After unpacking it, I discovered it was filthy inside and had two loose control knobs. After a couple of hours with a can of Deoxit and some swabs, I was amazed. Everything worked perfectly. I obtained replacement knobs that were snug. I hooked them up to a pair of Realistic MC-600 speakers and was blown away. The little 45 RMS receiver sounded so sweet clean through the paper cone speakers. I will connect my turntable to it soon. It is made to handle the old magnetic cartridges without and additional pre-amp. I will keep this little jewel forever and will it to my kids.

Realistic(Tandy) was always the stepchild of Technics, Panasonic, Pioneer and other mid-level priced electronics of the 1970's and 80's. However, their products are highly in demand to analog audiophiles. Compared to the receivers and garbage that is produced in China, today-the Receiver has an excellent, powerful analog sound that will last another thirty years The receivers produced today (low budget-$100) will barely last for the next five years.
