This single signed ball is a 1918-1924 Reach official American League baseball during the reign of AL president Ban Johnson.

The ball is signed “Babe” Ruth

Compared to early signature styles, the one developed while with the Yankees was confident and bold. During this period, Ruth placed quotation marks around “Babe”. He ceased using the quotation marks in the late 1920s. So the ball and signature style target the early Yankees timeframe

Condition: the ball has been displayed in a glass display case for several years. The leather has aged to a tan color. The signature has faded over approx 100 years but is complete and readable (see photos)
