YAESU FT-101ZD HF HAM RADIO TRANSCEIVER EXCELLENT For Sale

Beautiful vintage FT-101ZD HF ham radio transceiver. Considering the age I\'ve never seen a radio that looked better. Showing only light wear marks. Comes with Yaesu hand mic. I purchased this several years ago from a ham that had just had the radio serviced and aligned, but have never personally had the radio on the air. Just something I was saving for some retirement fun, but then who gets to retire these days. In any case, it has been kept in my office closet under a dust cover. I bring it out a couple of times and listen up and down the bands, so I know the receiver works. Just before listing I hooked it up to a dummy load and was getting about 120 watts out on the low bands, key down on CW. Output drops to the 75/50 watt range on the 15/10 meter bands. Switched to SSB and with the hand mic was getting normal output on voice peaks, and able to adjust output with mic gain. So, though I have not used the radio on air, everything appears to be in good order. Comes with power cord, but no manual. Dust cover as shown and included in the sale. However, due to age, sold without warranty of any kind, except that I guarantee it will power up and function as described. The rest I\'ll leave to the buyer. Sorry for the fuzzy pics. My camera is almost as old as the radio :) All faceplate lettering, crisp and clear. No noticeable wear marks. No rust or corrosion of any kind. The radio appears to have been little used.
