Offered for your consideration is a World War II U.S. Government Issued Remington combat fighting knife weapon with a top quality leather sheath. Marked on the knife: PAL - RH 36 - MADE IN U.S.A.This classic and very famous knife has an extremely sharp carbon steel blade with a nice tight stacked leather ring handle grip and red spacers.Made for all branches of the service, this fighting knife has some minor scratches and some pitting, but overall in good condition.We believe the blade was parkerized at one time, but much of it has been polished off. One leather stack near the pommel has seen abuse, but the rest look decent. A good dose of mink or neatsfoot oil would make this handle beautiful but we would leave this to the buyer\'s choice. The sheath is also in very good condition.The entire knife measures 11 1/8\" with a 6 1/4\" blade.
