WWII ITALIAN NAVY HELMET WWII BRING BACK SIGNED BY VETS OWNER STILL ALIVE For Sale

This sale is for an EXTREMELY RARE WWII Italian helmet, from the Royal Italian Navy! More then likely this helmet was captured in North Africa, or somewhere in very southern Italy shortly after Sicily/Anzio landings. There are about 20 WWII Veteran Signatures on it, one of them being the man who brought this helmet back from WWII, WHO IS STILL ALIVE!!! I dealt with his son, so I did not get to talk to him, but his son was more then willing to tell me what he knew about it, and that information, along with some contact information will go with the helmet. His father is now in a nursing home, but can talk and has his faculties still. Shortly after D-Day, the U.S. pulled most of it\'s Navy ships from the European Theater and moved them to the Pacific theater. This man was stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and got it from a sailor passing through on their way to Japan. He was stationed in Pearl Harbor from 1944 until 1947. Note, that it says \"Heil Hitler\" underneath the Italian Navy flash on the helmet.......... why?? Because he had no idea it was Italian,... he thought it was German!! Also, it has a U.S. Coastal Artillery symbol drawn inside the helmet,... which makes me think that it came from a Coastal Battery defended by Italian Naval Infantry. Very Very cool helmet, 1000% original an extremely rare. I found only one of these that has sold in the last 10 years, and it went for a ton of $$....It will come with enough insurance to make up the difference between what the actual shipping cost is, minus what i charged for shipping ($20). It is a rare helmet, I would insure it for total cost......... but i can not force you to do that, plus I have no idea how much the final sale price will be.
