Fascist Italian WWII MVSN San Marco Dagger/Knife with Scabbard all Original. Seldom encountered smaller version of Italian San Marco dagger of WW2. Some say this is the officer\'s version. Others say it just represents a different part of the San Marco armed forces under the MVSN. Plain blade, measures about 7.125\" with overall length about 11.875\". Blade has a thin brass washer where it enters the bakelite grip. On the pommel is a lion head, whose mane, on both sides, forms a stylized lictor complete with ax heads. One side of the bakelite grip guard is longer than the other, as it should be. Steel scabbard with metal belt loop on the backside with a screw at the top and a rivet at the bottom. Scabbard shows wear to paint with chips and scratches. Study our photos, they describe best.
