WW2 U.S.M.C. Medical Corps Bolo Knife- Dated 1944
Condition: Excellent, with no cracks, chips, or other damage to the knife blade or wood handle. Part of the finish has worn off the blade, however, the knife and sheath show normal wear for their age. The sheath\'s leather is still pliable and soft, free from tears to the stitching or cuts to the leather. It features a brass throat.
The sheath is marked U.S.M.C.Bout -44-, while the knife is marked U.S.M.C. Village Blacksmith.These knives were said to be used for anything from medical use to close quarters combat use.
