Up for sale is a WW2 era name bronze/brass plate/plaque for S. J. Tela Representative North American Aviation Nouassuer North Africa with St. Christopher religious motif. Mr. Tela was representative for North American Aviation (1928 to 1967) makers of the T-6 Texas Trainer, P-51 Mustang fighter, B-25 Mitchell bomber, F 86 Sabre Jet fighter, X-15 Rocket plane, and some of the Apollospace craft systems. Nouasseur is located near Casablanca French Morocco, North Africa and was later the site of an US Air Force Base. The plaque measuresapproximately 4\" by 1 5/8\". A great piece to add to yourearly aviation collection.
