WW2 KA-BAR COMBAT FIGHTING KNIFE W/SCABBARD For Sale

Offered for sale is this very early WW2 KA-BAR Fighting Knife with the original issue scabbard. KA-BAR was one of the contractors making MK2 knives for U.S. Military, for the duration of WW2.My WW2 fighting knife was the standard used by the U.S. Military in combat through out all Theaters of WW2. My KA-BAR measures 12 inches overall with a 7 inch blade and only the KA-BAR marking. It has obvious signs of field use in battle, hand-to-hand combat, causing the blade to lose most if it\'s original bluing. There are nicks, dents, and scratches, probably from blade-to-blade fighting. Much sharpening has been done to be ready to take on and beat the enemy against his user. The scabbard is likewise battle tired but ready to stand for America one more time. It, too, was repaired and continues to this day, no fancies, just a hard worked scabbard, with its trusty KA-BAR.
The condition is not pretty, it went to war, it shows a hard life but strong enough to go stand again. Good luck, it is sold AS IS and as I have described. If you are a WW2 collector, this is a knife that has seen a lot of action.
