1956 WALLACE SILVERSMITHS

ICE BUCKET / COOLER

with hinged Bale lid,The underside of the base is hallmarked by;1956 Wallace Silversmithsnumbered 2441,and also has the original Wallace label.\" Wallace Silversmiths, Wallingford CT. USA, from 1956, successor to R. Wallace & Sons.In 1959 acquired by Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster Penn.\"

This piece has an 8 cups is a beautiful Vintage, great Wallace quality,

lidded ice bucket with a hinged Bale lid, dome shaped.

The bucket features a raised base with ridged pattern.

The inside features a thermos liner to keep the ice frozen.

NO monograms.

This ice bucket can also be used as wine/Champagne cooler with the lid open.

LOVELY PIECE, GREAT elegant piece is in excellent, extremely gently used condition, sturdy piece, the Bale lid works perfectly, the hinge is perfect, no damage except a very tiny dent in the lower part just above the base and a few tiny scratches in the body, please see the last picture.

It is very clean, the interior looks hardly used, the exterior is polished and shiny, ready for immediate use.

I will include the free ice tongs visible in the pictures, that way the ice bucket/cooler is ready for immediate use at arrival.

This lovely Vintage Wallace piece will make a great addition to your bar-ware, and/or will make a decorative addition to your table settings at your dinner parties for use as ice bucket or wine cooler.

It measures 12 1/2\" tall, handle included x 9\" long. The ice bucket measured without the handle is 8\" tall. The opening of the Thermos liner is 6\" in diameter.

This piece weighs 4 lbs. 6 oz. before the wrapping.
