Vintage Swan 1200-W HF Linear Amplifier For Sale

Up For Sale is a Vintage Swan 1200-W HF Linear Amplifier. Cosmetically it is in very nice condition as can be seen in the photo\'s. Functionally it works very well. I tested it with a Siltronix 1011D and with about 70 watts drive I was getting about350 watts out with good signal and audio reports on 10 meters. A cooling fan was added by a past owner as was an extra coax connector. I don\'t know what the extra coax connector was for because it is not connected to anything. I tested the four 6LQ6 tubes on my K&B 747B tester and they all tested very strong (over 100%). It has also been modified to be used with newer radio\'s or a foot switch. That optional modification is shown on the schematic if you should ever want to change it back. The manual is not included but can be downloaded for free online.
