Slingerland Parlor Guitar w/ Conversion nut, slide, finger picks, and case
This is an old Slingerland parlor guitar that needs some love. I think it\'s made from mahogany. It has a wooden nut, with an accompanied steel conversion nut for playing slide. Inside the case is an old steel slide and metal finger/thumb picks. The case is in OK condition for it\'s age. All the latches work, and it looks almost like a snakeskin pattern.
The bridge is starting to lift, as well as the top lower bout (see pics), and there\'s a pretty sizable crack in the back. All the bridge pins and tuning machines are there. One tuning machine is bent, but still functions. It appears that the fretboard was numbered? You can see it more clearly past the 12th fret.
We haven\'t restrung and tuned this guitar up, because we believe it should have some proper repair first. The neck has a little bow to it, but not too bad. Really cool vintage burst and soundhole pattern. Almost like a cherry burst. 1930\'s?
