Vintage Sears Roebuck Strongbox Combination Safe Fire Proof Folding Handle 75 lb For Sale

Up for your consideration is a vintage fire proof strongbox which reads\" Tower by Sears, Roebuck Co.\" The strongbox is in great condition, other than some surface rust. This measures 19 1/4\" (with the handles folded down) x 11 5/8\" (to the edge of the hinge) x 15 1/2\" at it\'s tallest point the top handle. The inside is very clean and very very little rust, almost none. The door is very thick and heavy measuring around 2 1/4\" thick. The whole outside has tiny rust spots, along with the bottom, but overall very nice. There are no musty or foul smells inside. The safe has a combination lock, which I do have the combination for. The box is Very heavy for it\'s size weighing around 75 pounds. This could be chained into place with the handles on the side and on top, they are very strong. I really don\'t want to ship this if I don\'t have to. I will deliver this anywhere in the lower Peninsula of Michigan for $20 extra, less though the closer you are to Bay City. It was a tough choice trying to decide to sell this or not, it is very cool! The rating on the tag inside says this can stand 1 hour of fire exposure. It looks like there are spots on each end inside to hang files from. The box is gray in color, and has a great vintage look. The hinges are in perfect working order. Other than the rust, there is nothing wrong with the strongbox. The bottom has lots of scratches. Anything I forgot to mention, just email and I would be happy to help. I am putting down pick up only, but if you are really interested I will try and figure out a way to ship this. I will have to find a box big enough, shipping materials also, so I would have to add about $10 to the cost of the shipping. If you are out of state and wish to drive to the Michigan state line or somewhere close to that, I can meet up at a gas station to drop this off.
