vintage Panama Model 1915 zither For Sale

1915 Panama Model zither. Very good condition. No warping, cracking, separation of joints, or splitting of top or back. Decals are intact. Main decal shows a ship entering the Panama canal. Decal around sound hole shows ribbons, harps and lutes. Some \"crackling\" noted on finish on front of instrument evident in photos. All tuning pins work and zither has a nice sound. There are 31 strings. 15 are single strings starting on middle C and going up two octaves to C. 4 chords with 4 strings each for the chords of C, F, G and G7. Comes with tuning wrench and wire music rack that fits into holes on edge of instrument by the zither pins. It is not marked in the sound hole but the literature in the box indicates this was made by the Oscar Schmidt company. Nice vintage zither! Size 19.5\" long, 13\" wide and 1.5\" deep.
