Vintage Pair JBL D130 Signature Speakers Acousti-Craft Cabinets 16 ohm For Sale

I have just recently purchased these from the original owner. The beautiful Acousti-craft cherry cabinets house a pair of JBL D130 15\" full-range Signature Speakers. The speakers perform wonderfully with no rattles, buzzes, or static. The cabinets were built with a sort of \"sliding door\" on the bottom which you can see in the photos. The speaker serial numbers are 50310 and 50313, which my research leads me to believe indicates a build date of 1961 or \'62. The cabinets with pedestals measure approximately 30 1/2\" X 22 1/2\" X 21.\" The pedestals are not currently attached, as that is the state they were purchased in, but it\'s easy to see where and how they were attached previously with a few screws. I do not have an ohm meter and have not done an ohm test on the speakers. After removing the cabinet backs, which involves around 12 screws, I removed 4 of the 8 screws from one of the speakers in hopes of checking out the fronts. But the speakers did not seem to want to come off easily so I prudently refrained from using any undue force. I put the screws back in and left it at that. I\'ve posted many photos as well as a video, but please feel free to contact me with questions. Due to the rare and delicate nature of these fabulous speakers and cabinets, I have decided to list them as \"LOCAL PICKUP ONLY,\" rather than risk damage in shipment. I live 45 minutes southwest of downtown Kansas City, MO.
