Vintage John Grey & Sons London 8 String Banjo Mandolin With Cheney Case 1930\'s? For Sale

Vintage John Grey and Sons London Banjo Mandolin (8 strings) with vintage CHENEY carrying case. I don\'t think item has been played in over 75 years. I have no idea how old banjo mandolin  is. Judging by others online, it\'s from 1920\'s-1930\'s era. The strings are probably original as well. Item is out of tune, but does tune up and down with tuning knobs. I checked all frets and they don\'t buzz at all. I play guitar, but know nothing about mandolins. These have been selling for about $300.00 plus on . 

I have not cleaned it up at all or cleaned case out. The case says CHENEY on the brackets.
