Vintage Fire Alarm Bell Consumers Engineering Co Gardsman Made in Canada #351127 For Sale

This sale is for a Vintage Consumers Engineering Company \"The Gardsman\" Fire Alarm Bell. Pat. No 351127. It is metal. I believe it worked by a thin wire that ran to it and when it got hot or was on fire it melted and ran to the piece on the front of the bell that would trigger the very loud ringing to warn of a fire. The rewind flag would pop up on the side if it had been unwound and needed rewinding. The bell does work if you pull up on the metal piece on the front. It is extremely loud. The metal has some wear, scratchesand rust from age and use. It measures about 7\" across.
