VINTAGE FACTORYwood decoy, HAMLIN BOAT WORKS Mallard pair:
Seventy years old decoys from the 1940's by a small boat company in Muskegon, Michigan. They didn't make a lot of decoys, mostly mallards,a few teal are known and they were not in the decoy business very long. These decoys retain almost all of there orginal paint, glass eyes, some missing neck filler, verylight wear and no shot holes. Both heads are firm & tight. No cracks or breaks. The rough surface is exactly how these birds were made. 14"L 6"W X7". The hen is mistakenly noted that it is carved by Walter Schultz of Bay City MI. These were purchased from a estate in Crunna, MI..GREAT ADDITION to your Factory or Michigan collection.
