Rides without difficulty! Original hand grips with tassels intact, original tires, but original peddles are missing and had been replaced with blocks of wood.Tricycle stands approximately 18 inches, front wheel rim measures approximately 8 inches and back wheels are approximately 4 3/4 inches. The tricycle\'s age is evident with the wear of the paint and some rust here and there, however, it\'s in pretty good, solid condition for its age! Western Flyer manufacturer decal intact and legible.
The Disney Donald Duck Bell rings without difficulty. Ringer of the bell maintains its strong resistance. Walt Disney Products clearly labeled on bell. Bottom of bell is stamped \"made in Germany\" and has a label with 295. Picture of Donald Duck on bell has yellowed over the years. Metal on the bell has very small areas of oxidation. Overall condition of the bell also very good.
My wife, born in 1957, is the original owner of this bike. We have a picture of her riding it from 1959. Her uncle removed the peddles so his toddler niece could peddle the bike.
