Rare Cragstan space toy.Cragstan \"Space Ship\" toy made in Japan. About 11 inches in diameter.
This toy still works with some qualifications; the light bulb doesn\'t come on and the spaceman figure is missing. The toy has the classic bump-and-go mystery action. The plastic disk inside rotates (it would project images into the dome if the light bulb came on). The lifting mechanism for the spaceman works, but without the spaceman figure there is nothing to push open the hatch.
The batteries are very hard to remove from the battery compartment (something might be bent out of shape). And there is a dent to the edge/rim of the saucer.
I did take the saucer body off the base, but I made no attempts to replace and resolder the light bulb. I am not folding the tabs on the saucer body back down in case the buyer wants to make any repairs.
