Vintage German Made Black Silk Top Hat - in Good Condition.
The Top Hat is marked but hard to read
Be sure to carefully examine all pictures, as they are an integral part of the description.
The Spring Mechanism collapses and opens
but squeeks a bit when being collapsed or opened.
This Topper looks great and when you are wearing it.
If you want a Tophat to pop open and collapse a lot then please
do not buy or offer on this one.
The Measurements
The opening has a circumference of approximately 23" or approx. 58.5 cm
and measures 8" long x 6 5/8" wide.
Brim tip to brim tip the Tophat measures approximately 12 1/4" x 10 3/4" and is 5" tall.
Measured with a tailors cloth tape measure and
a Katamasa Hat Size Ring
Please note: The Spring Mechanism on a Collapsible Hat is comprised of 4 steel springs
attached to 2 steel ovals. The ovals form the Top of the crown and the opening for the head.
These are fixed in size and cannot be altered to make a hat larger or smaller.
I list the size in inches and centimeteres and also a picture using a Hat Size Ring.
Because the Hat is too small or too big is no reason for a return.
