Vintage Cavalier Tournament Edition Chessmen No. 1491 - Ivory & Black Double Weighted. It was made by Pacific Game Company, 12830 Raymer Street in North Hollywood, CA 91605. The box indicates the Copyright is 1967. The box indicates that this set is an authenticated Staunton design approved by the United States Chess Federation.
This is a set of 32 playing pieces, in the original box. NO CHESS BOARD INCLUDED.
The scale of the set:The King is 4 inches tall with a 1.75 inch diameter base. The pawn is 2 inches tall with a 1.25 diameter base.The storage box measures: 11 inches x 7.5 inches x 3 inches.
Condition: The only noteable flaw in condition is a slight residue discoloration (a couple of droplets) to the neck the white knight. I haven\'t tried to clean this since acquiring from an Estate Sale. Please inspect the photos for more details.
