Vintage 1817 Sheffield Hallmarked pure silver etched handle dagger / Dirk knife. With leather sheath . The blade is in mice condition it has blood grooves on both sides. Back in the 1800\'s these knives were considered \" prostitution\" knives. Used to hide in their garter. Blade measures 3 1/4\". Silver handle is 3 5/8\". Overall 7\". Letters marked on both sides of silver handle.
