On offer here is a very nice OldStoneware Scotch Whisky Jug made for James Buchanan who were suppliers to the House of Commons. Some very light rust marks but basically in super condition, all sound with no damage. This is a big jug measuring slightly short of eight inches tall and five and a quarter inches wide. It has a very dark brown/sepia metal stamp transfer to front, alot darker and much sharper than the picture represents. Highly detailed. Has an oval stamp mark under for Port Dundas Glasgow Pottery.
