VERY FINE ANTIQUE DUCK DECOY, BELIEVED TO BE MASON OR HAYS For Sale

I am disposing of an old collection of antique and primitive items including several duck decoys. Most of my items came from sales and estate sales in the South or from my private collection, all acquired over a span of 50 years. Similar items will sometimes be grouped together. This hunting decoy, rigged for hunting, was found in an abandoned Mississippi River hunting/fishing camp in about 1968 and has been in my possession ever since. I see no evidence of repaint or touch-up though is does have the expected signs of use and age. It has a most beautiful patina to the aged paint. It has a cast lead weight and is solid wood, sound in every respect. I believe it is an early Mason with glass eyes but could certainly be a Hays. I hate to part with it but am consolidating my collection to only include Pascagoula, Mississippi factory decoys.
