Here is a brand new 16\" long plastic promo truck made for Unocal 76 gas stations in 1996. I bought three of these Union Oil Company Super Tanker promotional trucks back in \'96 when I worked for Unocal. None had ever been out of the box till I opened this one for photos. The one high buyer will get is still taped in the factory box, never played with or out on display. It is exactly like the one shown in the sale and in brand new 21 year old mint condition. Hard to believe it\'s been that long. Sheesh. Anyway, these trucks have awesome detail and accurately portray the truck and trailer gas rigs that were so prevalent in California when Unocal was a power house oil company. The cab portrayed is a model 379 Peterbuilt conventional. Unocal didn\'t spare expense when it came to buying top of the line equipment. I believe the toy tanker is about 1/50 scale. It\'s a bit smaller than most oil company promo tankers so easier to display. The truck has polished tanks just like the real rigs did. It\'s full of realism with dome lids that serve as switches for the battery operated back up beeper, air horns and all the lights on both truck and trailer. The coolest part of this truck is the lit 76 logo on pull trailer! Really incredible to see in a dark room. Also visible on this stunning rig are the product outlet vales, hose tubes, exhaust stack as well as the hazardous material placards with correct 1203 United Nations numbers. Very interesting are the front license plates with one showing the proud plaque proclaiming the Los Angeles distribution center (LAT) as a 5 star terminal! Well deserved. Truck rolls easily and all functions work perfectly as they should. Box is crisp and clean always stored carefully in a climate controlled non smoking home. A now hard to find petroliana promotional item made even better with my low, low starting offer and ..........as always.

Your item will be securely packaged for a safe journey, but protective shipping coverage is offered and strongly recommended as I accept no responsibility for item once it is mailed. Delivery confirmation is included on every domestic shipment to insure the package arrives at it\'s destination. For international shipments priority and first class postage are available. Shipping charges are fixed as is shipping method. A slight handling charge is built in to cover shipping room costs and help. I do not skimp on packing. I am a collector as well as a dealer, and many times have been chagrined to open a box and find a rare vintage toy broken en route. Not due to postal misuse, but by poor and insensitive wrapping. You will not receive toys packed like this from me. All my items are thoughtfully and carefully packed as though I would be mailing them to myself. Prices are set by size and weight. USPS Priority Mail dimensional weight rates will now apply for certain large packages shipped to select zones within the U.S. Priority Mail can be very expensive with an oversize package, as many of my toys require, therefore for those larger items I use Parcel Post which is just as safe and almost as fast.
