Two Sets of Apothecary Brass Weights Made in France:

Two nice sets of vintage Apothecary brass weights in wooden boxes. One box is an open box whereas the other closes. Both sets are from France and marked as such. The Box with a lid has 6 weights, the largest being 50gr plus a lot of wafer metal shim type weights plus another small brass weight that does not belong with this set. It is missing two weights The wooden box is in a nice vintage condition. It has a few little chips, marks, no cracks. The box measures approximately 4 inches by 2 inches and 1 1/2 inches high.
The other wooden box is an open box with no lid. It has 7 brass weights, the largest being 50 gr. It also has a few wafer metal shin type weights. One weight is missing from the box. has a few small chips, scratches and could use a good cleaning. This box measures approximately 3 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.
All the weights in both boxes are tarnished.
These are two really nice vintage sets.
