Todd Sams Guitar HD-28 solid Adirondack, Brazilian, Ebony, not a Martin For Sale

This is a Todd Sams HD-28 style guitar. Todd Sams is a great guitar builder. This is number 29. The top is select solidAdirondack Spruce. The back and sides are solid Brazilian Rosewood . The neck is solidmahogany. I think it is a real Martin neck. The headplate is Brazilian and has Waverly butterbean tuners, Ivoroid body binding, Herringbone trim around the top. The pickguard is a Greven med. D-28. Fingerboard is radius Ebony and the bridge is Ebony with a bone compensated saddle. The bone nut is 1-3/4\", and spacing at the saddle is 2-5/16\" The body has forward shifted scalloped bracing. Comes with a hardshell case.This guitar sounds great. It has loads of volume, and the tone is unbelievable. There issmall crack in the top that runs from the fingerboard to the rosette. It has been cleated with a small maple cleat. It is very stable. There is one ding in the top that does not godown into the wood.Where the guitar would sit on your leg when playing there are some light places in the finish, but nothing into the wood. Also,there might be light pick mark on pickguard.This beautiful guitar was made in early 2003, or late 2002. This guitar has the most beautiful Brazilian Rosewood I have seen. In the sunlight there appears to be orange streaks in it !
