Offered is a completely fresh to the hobby Thurman Munson single signed Warren Giles Official National League baseball. The signed baseball was given to the original owner, whom Munson used to babysit for during his teenage years, prior to Munson's MLB debut. The baseball itself dates from the 1963-69 period and is consistent with the time period the baseball was originally obtained. The ball was obtained by the individual who received the ball from Munson coming directly out of Ohio in Munson's hometown even further confirming the provenance behind the pre-rookie signed beauty. Munson's signature graces the sweet spot in blue ink. What separates this Munson single signed baseball from the others that sell anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 is that Munson signed this baseball with his full name and added his middle initial L for Lee. What also separates this ball even further than its counterparts in the hobby is that this is one of the only known pre-rookie signed full name Thurman L. Munson single signed baseballs ever offered for sale. The baseball comes with a full letter of authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
