1969 TOPPS BASEBALL CARD (#398) SIGNED by TITO FRANCONA of the ATLANTA BRAVES. This card is in excellent condition with the number 69 written on the back right top corner. The autograph is in black ink pen.
Francona, the father of baseball manager Terry Francona, played for Atlanta from 1967-1969. During his long career (1956-1970) he also played for the Orioles, White Sox, Tigers, Indians (1959-1964), Cardinals, Phillies, A\'s, and Brewers. Overall in 1,719 games he hit .272 with 125 home runs. His second career was as Director of Parks & Recreation for a city in Pennsylvania. TITO FRANCONA DIED on February 13, 2018.
