Sanken Transistors for Sansui Amplifier AU-X1 2SA1068 / 2SC2493 - ONE PAIR For Sale

What to say... You will never get a chance to buy those ultra rare Sanken transistors, especially as NOS, NEVER USED!!! Here I am selling one pair of 2SA1068 / 2SC2493! Those pieces are the last ones what I have!2SA1068, 2SC2493 Sansui used in High Speed Premium Amplifier, model AU-X1. Here it is a picture from Sansui catalogue for AU-X1 Those Sanken transistors are high speed transistors, look at old Japanese data sheet: As you can see there, 2SC2493 has fT 70MHz (!) and Cob is only 100pF!! So, you can\'t find today production of TO3 power transistors with that speed, and that is very important for high speed audio amplifier such us Sansui AU-X1One interesting thing; if you have high speed Kenwood KA-907 amplifier with 2SA1065/2SC2489 at power stage, those sanken transistors could be good choice for you, because those transistors are very similar!2SA1065/2SC2489 combination was made by Matsushita, and 2SA1068 / 2SC2493 by Sanken, but the both are high speed TO3 power transistors, the both has the same Vcbo - 150V, the both has the same Vbo - 5V, the both has the same Ic - 10A, the both has the same fT - 50MHz, only what I can\'t find the data of Cob for 2SA1065/2SC2489, but Cob for 2SA1068 / 2SC2493 is 100pF.So, I think that those two combinations are compatible, and that Sanken combination should be good for yours Kenwood high speed amplifier, but it would be good to have the same transistors on one channel (Sanken or Matsushita).If you have any kind of question, or you wish to see some detail, please ask me BEFORE offerding.
