c.1933-1934 Sandoz-Vuille 8 Day Manual Wind Clock

~For Automobile Rear View Mirror ~

From the estate of 90+ year old former employee of Ford. I was told he acquired the clock during the early 1930\'s while working as a pattern maker in the plant. TheLucite holder shown was made by him for this clock, I don\'t believe it was ever used in an automobile as intended.

Condition is excellent, near mint. The 8 day 6 jewel movement winds & sets properly, runs perfectly. Tested for accuracy 24 hours before listing, time is spot on accurate. No scratches to beveled glass crystal,dialis flawless withno discoloration or blemishes of any kind.

Last service date unknown, buyer should plan on having movement serviced (cleaned & oiled)before regular use, then every two years for reliable operation. Do not expect precision quarts accuracy from a hand wind movement thats 80 years old.
