HERE IS ANOTHER BIG 6 TUBE POWERED MOTOROLA 3 CHANNEL RECORD PLAYERLOOKS AND SOUNDS INCREDIBLE! PRICED REASONABLY, BEST DEAL ON !These Motorola SP-29\'s are the best sounding and best looking 6 TUBE POWERED, 3 CHANNEL STEREO portable record player/changer ever produced!
WOW! This record player thinks it\'s a stereo console, and has plenty of clear and warm, tube driven sound to fill an entire house!6 tubes total: (4) FOUR ECL82\'s (6BM8\'s) (1) ONE 12AX7, and (1) ONE 6CA45 Motorola Golden Voice Speakers total: (1) 8 inch Woofer, (2) 5 inch Midrange, (2) 3 inch Tweeters
FYI, this model is not to be confused with smaller, less powerful models, such as the MOTOROLA SH-12 series, or the SH-15 - 18, or SH-20 GL series, which has smaller, less powerful tubes and output, smaller speakers, producing a weaker sound spectrum, far less bass output, not to mention a cheaper turntable.
THIS IS THE BIG GUY!In the 40\'s, through the 60\'s, Motorola produced a great line of Alnico magnet speakers called \"Golden Voice\", they were premium speakers for their time period, but they still deteriorated in less than ideal climates due to materials used in their construction.Vintage electronic components need to be in a climate controlled environment, just like people.
You wouldn\'t store a vintage guitar in an unheated garage, attic, or musty, humid basement, would you?Same reasoning applies to these vintage record players, or any fine electronic component.
Rest assured, Ithoroughlytest all the speakers, mechanisms, and point to point circuitry, electronically and visually, in my record players before I release them for service.
What a great looking record player too!Beautiful brass trim adorns the entire record player for a classy look!
FULLY OPENED UP, IT MEASURES 54 INCHES WIDE!
Besides being completely dismantled, cleaned, polished, and given the complete thorough restoration service I always provide, this has tested good, or NOS tubes, matched for equal output, cartridge assembly has been replaced with a new replacement, along with flip over style, diamond stylus.Freshly rebuilt, polished, and lubricated, this turntable works excellent on all speeds, reject mechanism worksefficiently, and smoothly.
Nicely crafted, brass tonearm adjusted for the lightest, yet mostefficienttracking pressure.
Original factory alligator print, vinyl finish is not spray painted on, like some restored record players. These highly prized, and sought after, MOTOROLA tube powered, vintage portable record players are designed to sit nicely on those cool retro record player stands that are so popular now, they also give you places to store your records as well.
Positioned strategically in a room, this will certainly be a focal point, and generate fond memories and compliments for years to come!
FYI, These cabinets were never designed to put legs on, that will destroy the originality of these forever, and they do not have the inner structure to support them.
This classic 60\'s record player / changer will play all your old records, no matter what the speed is!
Compare this awesome powerhouse to any other vintage portable record player for sale on , you will see that it is the BEST sounding and BEST looking portable record player/changer ever produced.Did I say portable?????
This mini/stereo console weighs in at over 52 LBS and opens to almost 5 feet across, that\'s why it sounds so incredible, the huge AC power supply, the all wood cabinet, and the 5 speakers!
I guess Motorola invented the saying\" Go Big Or Go Home\"
FANTASTIC STEREO SEPARATION AND SOUND STAGE PRESENCE!
These BIG Motorola SP-29\'s are probably my favorite record players to restore, once they\'re all finished, and I put a record on it to test and play, the sound quality makes it all worth it!
It actually sounds like one of those long stereo consoles that were in everybody\'s home in the 60\'s and 70\'s!
I\'ll post videos of it later.
PLAYS 45\'s Too, Either Automatically or Manually!
PLEASE NOTE:Realistically, this is over 55 years old, and there are going to be some corner rubs and cosmetic imperfections, and I have spent a lot of time replacing, touching up, and repairing anything that doesn\'t work, or is up to my critical specifications.
I can\'t reproduce parts, nor can a lot of these cosmetic parts be purchased because these were manufactured in the 1960\'s, but I do my best to bring these back to factory originality.VERY RARE TO FIND IN THIS ORIGINAL CONDITION, usually, these have broken corners, ripped and torn vinyl coverings, missing parts, rusted metal hinges, along with blown out, or dry rotted speakers and stained or ripped speaker fabric.
Please check my response rating, many customers are repeat buyers!Packed carefully, like it was coming to me, I\'ve learned how to package these in the many years that I have been in the business, that\'s why I line the box with foam sheeting and double box.SHIPPING RATES:SHIPPING THESE HUGE PLAYERS IS NOT CHEAP, I DOUBLE BOX, bubble wrap, pad with styrofoam, and insure it also.
YOU PAY GOOD MONEY FOR WHAT YOU GET, I WOULD NOT SACRIFICE THIS BEAUTIFUL RECORD PLAYER TO A SHIPPER THAT DOESN\'T CARE.
I always use Fedex, they go the extra mile to make sure your package comes to you undamaged.
This record player, as beautiful and original as it looks and sounds, is Sold As Is
Properly taken care of, it should last another 50+ years!
Buy It Now price is only valid in the U.S. 48 states.NOTE: SALE IS FOR RECORD PLAYER ONLY, NOT THE STAND
You must have a positive response rating of at least 8.
ADDED NOTES!Please check out my other record players for sale.I have a Silvertone, Westinghouse, Motorola SH-22, Motorola SH-12 Speakers for sale presently.
