Remarkable Antique 1911 Schoenhut 16\" Smiling Girl...All Original For Sale

Hello! This is an absolutely amazing antique 1911 Schoenhut Smiling Girl doll. She is wood about 15\" tall and in over all clean excellent original condition. She has beautiful uniform coloring throughout although her head is just a tad lighter than her body. Her solid basswood has a marvelous rich patina. She has a smiling mouth with 2 teeth. She has all original face paint. She has brick red lips with matching nostril and eye dot paint. She has brown eyes and well defined brows. She is wearing her original thick shiny brown mohair wig. I rarely see a wig this nice on a Schoenhut doll. It is parted in the middle with bangs that lay flat. It is cut in the page boy style. There is a little wear where her head meets her neck especially in the back. She has a label on her back which reads: Schoenhut Doll Pat Jan 17th 1911 U.S.A. Her body looks great. I see no cracks, chips, breaks, etc. The metal pieces look nice. I see no rust. Her limbs are tight move and will hold a pose. Her hands look great although she is missing the tips of her middle and ring finger on her left hand. She does have all of her toes. The top of her feet and toes have some minuscule imperfections. She has 2 holes on the bottoms of each foot. She is wearing what looks like her original underwear. I also have white socks and a pair of fabulous original shoes. They are black/gray oil canvas with laces. They are marked Made In Germany on the bottom. If you have any questions or comments about this scarce doll I would like to hear from you. Hello. I am adding a note in response to a question I had about this doll\'s face paint. I took a look at Schoenhut Dolls & Toys by Susan Manos. Several of the dolls do have the white dots in their eyes just like this doll. A few have eye brows painted very similar to hers too. I have taken a good look at the eyes and eye brows again and I do believe that the paint is all original.
